new year. new home.

happy new year!

2014 has ushered in a wonderful gift of a new home for our family.

The past couple of months have been a whirlwind of activity, deep reflection, letting go and inspired intuitive action around the theme of HOME.

After trying and trying and trying to buy, then rent, the “wrong” house that we thought was the “right” house — we LET GO — and a new door swung wide open and led us to the house we’re moving into!

It’s an old farmhouse built in 1905 on 1.5 acres of open land, surrounded by orange orchards in the Ojai Valley. Everything about this house, the decisions, the logistics, etc. have fallen into place so easily–as though truly divined. After living in 950 sq feet with 1 bathroom for 8 and a half years, we’re THRILLED to have a larger home with lots of open space, indoors and out, as we enter the “teen zone.”

Feeling so grateful & so so blessed!

Today we took a break from packing & moving and had our first party…10 girls celebrating our daughter’s 10th birthday.

in gratitude ♥

  1. So happy for you and your sweet family, Les! Blessings to you.

  2. Wow, Leslie, what a coincidence: I just checked your blog earlier today to see if you had posted anything new! What a surprise when I saw the email notification just now. What a wonderful house – we’re still living in a tiny space after 10 years, so I can really empathize with the sigh of relief you must be feeling! Congratulations! Carla
